In version 3.1.0 we have introduced the "Default Settings For Tickets", the functionality can be found in the Configuration Screens of RD e-Tickets and gives you abillity to enter a default set of Ticket Positions. (In earlier versions this was hardcoded in an AJAX script)
When should you use it?
When you have a lot events coming up, this may be a nice feature. You are going to design a set of tickets for every event but only using a different color scheme. Now you don't want to enter these variables on every ticket again. So you want to load these positions in the ticket you are creating in RD e-Tickets.
How to set it up?
- Go to the configuration of RD e-Tickets.
- In the center collumn (at the bottom of the screen)
- Open the collapsables to find the setting.
Enter all values you need, and save your configuration. TIP: The things you don't need on your ticket maybe be left empty, the script will detect this empty value and the position is not being used on your tickets. This may be useful when you have a completely designed ticket with all data you need except a barcode :)
How to load this positions in my ticket?
When creating a ticket (or editing one) you have in the right collumn the ticket settings.
In the dropdown box you may now choose where to load the ticket settings. All events are being listed and the configuration option is default. The settings you have entered in the configuraion will be loaded then. Make your choice and hit "Load Positions!". Then it is loading the desired information for you.
