In version 3.0.3 we made some changes to the scripts and that makes it possible to turn on and off Ticketsending by RD e-Tickets as some clients are selling tickets, but sending original printed tickets by regular email. Due to this setting you are able to turn Ticket sending off.
In some default setups the option has been turned off. And that is probably the issue..
How to solve this issue:
- Login to your administrator.
- Then go to components -> RD e-Tickets
- In the Control panel you have to choose for configuration.
- Turn the setting on and it should send your tickets - You can find this setting in the "PDF Settings" (center column)
1. Send PDF Confirmation:
When a customer is ordering tickets from your site, you may want to send him a confirmation. The settig "Send Ticket Confirmation?" can be turned on to send the customer a confirmation by email. The email contains a PDF file with all ordered items and the total amount of his order.
2. Send Multi Ticket Only:
If you want to save our world you should turn on this functionality. The tickets will be combined to only one page, a sort of confirmation, but n this PDF the barcode/QR code is also added. So your customer have to print only one page and take this to the event. You can see the same information as the original ticket but less!
3. Send PDF Tickets to Clients:
Set this option to yes and the tickets will be sent as attachment. NOTE: When having turned on "Send Multi Ticket Only" the original created tickets will be removed and a Multi Ticket will be sent instead of the original tickets. If this functionality is turned off no tickets will be sent at all.
