[TM-1.0.9] Setting up Categories in Ticketmaster PDF Print E-mail
Let's create a start for your ticketmaster. There needs to be some categories before we can start.
The categories can be events for example. [ ie: Dj Tiesto or Dj Jean or Holland vs Italia ]
In this case we will take a look at the main overview, that is when you have clicked the categories button at the start (image 1)

You will enter the main category overview page (image 2)
There are several options there, it's more administrative.

- Buttons on the top: add/edit/delete/publish and unpublish.
- Overview of all events in your database.
- Dates of the events

Let's add an event, and describe what we're doing.

- Eventname [Choose a propername, ie: Holland - Italia]
- Eventgroup [Keep this one short, ie: H-I (It will be used on the ticket)]
- Total Amount of tickets for this event. [Not used anywhere, only administration]
- Eventdate & Closingdate [Date for the event, closing date is used for unpublishing automatically]
- Published [YES or NO]
- Description

Example: Eventgroup if you had used DJ Tiesto = DJT
Example: Eventgroup when you had choosen for DJ Jean = DJJ

The Eventgroup needs to be easy for yourself only, when someone comes at the door ( to an employee ) he has to see immediatly what tickets he has.
