We have added 2D barcodes in version 1.0.14. The diffrence between the barcodes:
1D Barcode
We are using EAN-13 standard code. An EAN-13 barcode (originally European Article Number, but now renamed International Article Number even though the abbreviation EAN has been retained) is a 13 digit (12 + check digit) barcoding standard which is a superset of the original 12-digit Universal Product Code (UPC) system developed in the United States.[1] The EAN-13 barcode is defined by the standards organisation GS1.
The EAN-13 barcodes are used worldwide for marking products often sold at retail point of sale. The numbers encoded in EAN-13 bar codes are product identification numbers, which are also called Japanese Article Number (JAN) in Japan. All the numbers encoded in UPC and EAN barcodes are known as Global Trade Item Numbers (GTIN), and they can be encoded in other GS1 barcodes.

2D Barcode aka QR Code
For this Barcode we are using Google API's to create the file and will be temporary stored at your hosting account. When you use this function, you need to be sure that CURL is enabled on your server. Most hosting providers do have this function on.
A QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response code) is a specific matrix barcode (or two-dimensional code) that is readable by dedicated QR barcode readers, camera telephones, and to a less common extent, computers with webcams. The code consists of black modules arranged in a square pattern on a white background. The information encoded may be text, URL, or other data.
The X and Y position is chosen by your self.
X: Defines the abscissa of the current position. If the passed value is negative, it is relative to the right of the page. Y: Defines the ordinate of the current position.
Example: When you have X: 153 the point is 15.3 cm from left to right. (153mm)
